Today, I'm happy to announce that I now accept Dogecoin as a payment method for Designing Hypermedia APIs.
DOGE is a crypto-currency, similar to BitCoin. However, it's based on the silly 'doge' meme that's blown up over the past few months. I've been a big downer on BitCoins for a number of reasons, but the silliness of DOGE has made me get really excited about using it, for some reason. I think it might be because it doesn't take itself very seriously, and I don't take cryptocurrencies very seriously.
To encourage sales in DOGE, I'm actually going to price them a bit cheaper than in USD. I'm not automatically tracking the conversion rate, but I'll update it every few days by hand.
